Bus Passenger Survey methodological overview – Autumn 2014 (published March 2015)

20 May 2015

Transport Focus established the Bus Passenger Survey (BPS) to generate a robust and comprehensive measure of bus passengers’ journey experience within our remit area (England outside of London). The BPS objectively measures bus passengers’ experience on individual journeys, covering the bus stop environment, punctuality, bus arrival, on-bus comfort, the bus driver, together with overall journey satisfaction and value for money ratings.  This document outlines in more detail the methodology used in the BPS.
