This research provides an in-depth understanding of how passengers feel about using public transport as Covid-19 restrictions have eased.
This research was undertaken across the summer, with online focus groups with the same group of participants at the end of May and the end of July. This approach allowed us to understand how views changed as restrictions eased.
We used the interim findings from May to input into the Government’s social distancing review and to help operators support people to try public transport again.
