Communication breakdown

I have a slight feeling of dread when I see the Victoria line’s new carriages appear on my platform – you are never quite sure if they are going to make it to the end of the journey. They have improved a lot, but the doors continue to cause problems it seems.

Staring at the Tube map inside the carriage I spotted a very rare Transport for London information lapse – a totally out of date tube map showing the East London Line still under construction. Work has been completed and this great service is now linked up with the North London Line. It’s particularly odd given that the Victoria Line interchanges at Highbury and Islington with the North London Line Overground services…
