Summer time…and the trains are heaving

Summer’s here and the trains are packed.

Kids, grandparents and students – the whole country is on the move. Great? Yes, but what isn’t so good is the pressure on space due to all the extra luggage. Modern trains fit punters and not luggage.

End result? It feels very packed indeed. There are even people at Grantham with buckets and spades heading to Skegness. Trains really come into their own in the summer but the need for flexible space is even more pressing.
