Transparency regarding P Code cancellations – correspondence with Rail Delivery Group

Transport Focus believes it is important to have transparency, including for each train operator, about the number of trains removed from the timetable in advance and so not counting as cancellations in published statistics.

In July 2023 Transport Focus wrote to the Rail Delivery Group asking it to work with train operators to introduce a consistent way of reporting so called ‘P Code’ cancellations on train company websites.
