Transport Focus response to the announcement of new bus funding by the Department of Transport

Responding to the Department of Transport announcement of £150 billion to support local bus services and to extend the £2 fare cap, director at Transport Focus, David Sidebottom, said:

“Passengers tell us they want bus services that are reliable, frequent and offer value money. This significant investment into local bus services and the £2 bus fare extension, will help more people get around by bus and put more money back in their pocket.”
