Logistics and Coach Survey 2025

To operate effectively, logistics and coach businesses rely on a dependable and well-managed road network. That is why it’s important for us to understand how well National Highways roads meet the needs of logistics and coach businesses.
This survey asks logistics and coach managers how satisfied or dissatisfied they are with England’s motorways and major ‘A’ roads. Overall satisfaction remains low – only 36% of respondents were satisfied, with 36% actively dissatisfied. Notably, there was only one question (road safety) where more than 50 per cent of vehicle managers indicated some level of satisfaction.
Our Logistics and Coach Survey is now a formal Performance Indicator of National Highways’ performance. National Highways’ Customer Service Plan for 2025-26 includes a commitment to delivering a programme of activities to improve the customer satisfaction of logistics and coach vehicle managers.
Transport Focus is working with National Highways to shape this ongoing programme and agree priority areas for action.
