Transport Strategy for Wales – Transport Focus response

Today The Welsh Government published ‘Llwybr Newydd – New Path’, a new transport strategy for Wales.

David Beer, senior manager Wales at the independent watchdog Transport Focus, said:

“This strategy is good news for current and future transport users in Wales. We know from our work with thousands of passengers and road users that reliable, good-value journeys are key to getting people back on public transport. And people tell us that ’range anxiety’ is a real barrier to adopting electric vehicles so we welcome this investment in charging points. We’ll be working closely with the Welsh Government to help ensure all this is delivered with transport users’ needs at the heart.”
