Transport for Wales performance letter

Following months of disruption to Transport for Wales rail services Transport Focus has written to TfW chief executive calling for action to ensure services are improved for passengers. 

Transport Focus has requested TfW produce an action plan with timescales for restoring service performance and reliability for passengers.

TfW has responded. You can read their response below.

Transport Focus will continue to monitor the situation, looking for TfW to:

• restore service performance and reliability as a priority
• improve information provision via a range of channels, not just digital, with honest and transparent communications when things do not go to plan
• monitor and improve the experience of replacement services
• have a greater focus on complaint handling quality.
