Promoting quality public transport – TravelWatch NorthWest conference

Anthony Smith, Passenger Focus chief executive, will be speaking at TravelWatch NorthWest’s ‘Promoting quality public transport’ conference on 2 October 2008 at the Mechanics Centre, Princess Street, Manchester.

The event, starting at 10.00am, The agenda will include presentations from Chris Green on ‘The Future of the Railway Industry’, Dave Wetzel (formerly with Transport for London) on ‘Land Value Capture’. There will also be an ‘open forum’ session, giving an opportunity for all present to ask a question or make a short statement on any public transport issue of concern.
