Information during rail strikes

We continue working to improve information for transport users during periods of strike disruption. To give just a few examples….
Recently National Rail Enquiries heeded our advice and made it clearer on its website that there are reduced timetables and a later start to service on days following strike action. It has also clarified that passengers can claim a full refund on Advance tickets (without an admin fee) if their train is affected by strike action. South Western Railway agreed to put notices on ticket vending machines (TVMs) on future strike days. Greater Anglia added PDFs of strike timetables to its site. And Red Spotted Hanky improved the information on its warning banner.
