Passenger Voice November 2015: Could you contribute to a transport hackathon?

30 October 2015

Do you want to help create better transport? The IMCreate hackathon aims to bring together 100 people to develop the future transport solutions for better journeys. Transport Systems Catapult is looking for for coders, data scientists, business thinkers, artists, designers and others to join in a 24 hour hackathon.

The event takes place on 14 and 15 November between London and Milton Keynes. Starting in Canary Wharf, teams will travel to Euston Station by various routes, developing ideas for different modes of transport. The top three teams will be given the opportunity to develop their ideas and deliver a pitch to a panel of expert judges, with prizes for the winners.

What is a hackathon we hear you say? A hackathon event brings together computer programmers with designers, software developers and other creatively minded people. To sum it up, at a hackathon, people come together and use technology to transform ideas into reality.
