Join chief executive of Highways England, Jim O’Sullivan, and many more at our conference to discuss ‘The North East: well connected – or out on a limb?’.

When: 2 – 5pm, Wednesday 11 November

Where: BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art, Gateshead.

How well connected is the North East at a local level and to the rest of the country, by road, rail, bus and Metro? What works well for transport users, and what needs to be improved?

Jim O’Sullivan, will give a keynote speech setting out the regional perspective on connecting the north east. Tobyn Hughes, MD of Nexus, and Robert Montgomery, MD of Stagecoach UK Bus, will draw on what lessons can be learned from local services.

Following the conference you are invited to join us for our stakeholder reception at BALTIC between 5 and 7pm. This event is an opportunity to meet our Board members and senior staff, and to learn more about our work.
