Road User Voice – January 2016 – Research coming soon

23 December 2015

Over the next year Transport Focus will be publishing lots of new research into road users’ experiences of using England’s motorways and major ‘A’ roads.

We are working on pilot research for how we will measure satisfaction with the road network among different types of road user. We are also working on research about roadside facilities and handling of disruption on the road network.

For more detail on the research that we are doing, check out the ‘coming soon’ section of our website.

Also, Highways England has published the 2014/15 National Road User Satisfaction Survey (NRUSS) – measuring satisfaction among those using England’s motorways and major A-roads. Government has set Highways England a target that 90 per cent of road users should be satisfied from 31 March 2017 onwards. The 2014/15 score is 89 per cent on a gently falling trend over recent years.
