ScotRail franchise – Passenger Focus response

Commenting on the publication of the draft Invitation To Tender for the ScotRail franchise, Robert Samson, Passenger Focus manager, said:

“Passengers will welcome the pegging of commuter fare rises to inflation and off-peak fare rises to less than inflation.
“It’s also good to see the franchise being built around the experience of passengers. We’re pleased to see that passenger satisfaction, as measured by our national passenger survey, will be used to assess the new franchise’s overall success. It is essential that any new franchise delivers what passengers want.”
