A628 – early road closure – Transport Focus correspondence

On 29 August 2019 a road user came across signs saying that the A628 was closed – this is the route across the Pennines from Sheffield to Manchester.  He was frustrated because the road appeared to have been closed earlier than Highways England said it would be.  Transport Focus asked Highways England to investigate.
