Brighton Main Line Improvement Project – the passenger perspective

20 September 2019

The Brighton Main line Improvement Project took place from October 2018 until February 2019 with planned closures over the February half term holiday and 15 weekends.

Network Rail, working with Govia Thameslink Railway, asked Transport Focus to help research passenger awareness of the works, their understanding of the benefits and the effectiveness of operational arrangements.

This research follows on from previous work Transport Focus has undertaken with train companies to further understand what is important to passengers when planned engineering works take place and how their experience can be improved.
