East Anglia rail franchise consultation – Passenger Focus response

Passenger Focus welcomes the opportunity to provide a rail passengers’ perspective as the specification for the new East Anglia franchise is developed. When the requirements of the franchise are established, it is vital that the needs of passengers using and paying for rail services are placed squarely at the heart of the contract. This formal consultation response sets out the many important issues that should be addressed in the franchise specification and by bidders before the contract is let.
