Great Western timetable change letters

In October, Transport Focus chief executive Anthony Smith wrote to Great Western Railway, Network Rail and MTR Elizabeth Line (TfL Rail). This was to check that they are all focused on the new timetables to and from London Paddington and the west coming in as smoothly as possible on 15 December.
The new timetables bring more trains and extra capacity, but there are always risks with timetable changes and we wanted to be sure all the plans were on target.
Mark Hopwood, managing director of Great Western Railway, Mike Gallop, director Western Route at Network Rail and Steve Murphy, managing director at MTR Elizabeth Line, put together a response.
