Passenger Focus statement of compliance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics

This statement sets out Passenger Focus’s operational arrangements for compliance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics and with the Pre-release access to Official Statistics Order 2008. As of the 1st April 2009, Passenger Focus was named as a provider of Official Statistics and undertakes two pieces of research which need to be produced in accordance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics (http://www.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/assessment/code-of-practice/index.html) and the standards described in the eight principles and three detailed protocols. These pieces of research are the National Passenger Survey (NPS) and the accredited National Statistic the Bus Mystery Traveller Survey (BMTS).
