Press release – East Midlands Trains doubles cost of morning travel from Market Harborough, Kettering and Wellingborough to London

From next week passengers travelling in the morning from Market Harborough, Kettering and Wellingborough to London face fare rises of up to 145%. East Midlands Trains plans to change the rules of the Travelcard tickets from some of its stations from September 6. The changes will mean that passengers travelling from Market Harborough, Kettering and Wellingborough who arrive in London after 9.45am and before 11.29am will have to buy more expensive tickets.
