Reliable information about how much space there is right now or is expected to be in the future can help passengers plan, avoid busier services and make social distancing easier. It can also play a key role, when the time is right, in giving more passengers the confidence to return to public transport.

Many operators now provide information about space on board their services. This report is focuses on this information and includes:
