Derby resignalling works

Resignalling and re-modelling works around Derby station will bring significant disruption to train services through the area from 22 July to 7 October 2018. Transport Focus is working with Network Rail and the two train operators involved (East Midlands Trains and CrossCountry) to monitor passenger awareness of the works and the associated disruption to their journeys.

To date we have undertaken two waves of research (November/December 2017 and February/March 2018). Further waves are planned for June, before the works commence, and during the works period (July-September) – to monitor passengers’ experience of the alternative arrangements being made.

Click the link below to download the findings from waves one and two.

The findings from the later waves and a summary of the research overall will be published here in due course.
