Timetable crisis: watchdog sets out long-term issues for regulator to tackle

It’s vital that the rail industry tackles the underlying issues causing late publication of timetables, whether the twice-yearly permanent changes or short-term alterations required because of engineering works. We’ve submitted evidence to the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) Glaister Inquiry – you can see what we’ve said here. Following the ORR’s update on the ‘T-12’ Investigation and the Inquiry last week, we’ve written to the ORR setting out the issues we’d like to see tackled in the recommendations it makes.
