All quiet on the London Bridge front?

My Sunday trip down to Sevenoaks much better. Despite the bay platforms being closed, due to the on-going engineering work, lots of Southern, Southeastern and Network Rail staff around at strategic points. Passengers being given help, talked through maps etc. Even more important as no Thameslink services so quite a few bemused people trying to get to Gatwick.

Even the added thrill of a bus replacement service from Sevenoaks to Bat & Ball (yes, there is a station called that!) uneventful. Modern clean London style bus, bang on time and driven with what can only be described as purposeful gusto!

The big test of the Xmas works and beyond now looms.
