English and Welsh bus passengers limber up to have their say

03 September 2012

Passenger Focus’s Bus Passenger Survey (BPS) is going into action again in this autumn with surveys across England and Wales. We have managed to secure third-party funding for lots more surveys which will not only help build up a good picture of bus passengers in particular places, but will also show how areas compare with each other. Most bus passengers will never use bus services in another area so they have no idea how typical or good their services are. Added to the work we did with Travel West Midlands and Centro and Go-Ahead in the spring, the Bus Passenger Survey is starting to build a powerful picture of passenger satisfaction. At this rate it will soon be bigger than our rail National Passenger Survey.
