FA Cup triumph

25 April 2012

The FA’s decision to shift the time of the FA Cup Final to 5.15pm follows in a long line of sporting events being shifted around to suit the organisers with a virtually callous disregard for the very people who are meant to be enjoying the game as well as paying handsomely for it. There seems to be little thought given to that most important thing: how are fans going to get there and get home? These decisions also affect other passengers as fans are left milling around.

Transport organisations and the British Transport Police need more say in these decisions.
