What is going on with the Underground. On Saturday, trying to get to the Railfuture re-openings conference (ironically) the Jubilee, Victoria and Circle line shut plus other partial closures. Bank was a  nightmare. All on the day of the Lord Mayor’s fireworks. Yes, I know there is never a good time to do engineering works. Yes, I know it’s good all the money is being dug into the ground. But, such widespread closures? Sunday is now a very busy day for train companies (second busiest day of the week for some) but you might not be able to get anywhere having reached London!
