Speaking toilets – you heard it here first!

A good contact of ours gave us the following report.

I was travelling back from Carlisle yesterday on Virgin Trains and was quite surprised to hear a rather humorous announcement from the toilets which I’d not heard before.  I noticed that recently the interiors had been decorated with scenic images. There was an announcement to state when the door is shut, locked, etc.  It then goes onto state what you can and can’t put down the toilet – at first it is serious stuff, for example nappies, but then other items such as ‘goldfish, hopes and dreams’.

I have to confess, it did make me smile, and I suspect all the above are attempts to overcome a lot of negative publicity and criticism of the toilet facilities.

I am not sure what to think!
