How much is an off peak standard single from Milton Keynes to London Terminals (whatever they are..?) which you can use on any train company?
How much is an off peak standard single from Milton Keynes to London Terminals which you can only use on Virgin Trains?
The answer? Both £13 – despite the fact one is much more useful than the other as you can also use London Midland services.

How can that be and how can any passenger ever make any sense of it?
