Passenger Focus will be holding a fringe debate at the Labour party conference on Tuesday 23 September 2008.

The event will take place in Charter 4, within the Charter Suite in Manchester Central (formerly GMEX), Petersfield, Manchester 5.15pm. The theme of the event will be ‘Can we give passengers world class train and bus services?’. The event will follow a question time format and Ruth Kelly MP, Secretary of State for Transport, Sir Howard Bernstein, Clerk to the Authority, Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority and Nicola Shaw, Head of UK Bus for FirstGroup will join Passenger Focus Chief Executive Anthony Smith on the panel.

The debate will be chaired by Passenger Focus Chairman Colin Foxall CBE.

Please note that you must be a conference delegate (pass holder) to attend this event as it is inside the secure area for the conference.
You do not need to be a delegate to visit our promotional bus.

Alongside our fringe event we will be taking our promotional bus to Manchester to promote the announcement that Passenger Focus will become the independent bus and coach consumer watchdog. The bus will be parked on Station Approach, outside Manchester Piccadilly station, during the day on Tuesday 23 September. Why not come along and see us?
