North Eastern rail user group meeting

On Tuesday 17 July Passenger Focus will host a rail user group meeting for groups across the North East of England.It will focus on issues involving local operations by Northern Rail and long distance GNER services, as well as the recently published East Cost mainline Route Utilisation Strategy.

David Sidebottom, passenger link manager for Northern, Merseyrail and Hull Trains will attend the meeting, as well as Guy Dangerfield, passenger link manager for GNER, First Capital Connect and 0ne.

There will also be representatives from Northern and GNER, as well as Soroptimist International. Soroptimist International is a worldwide organisation for women in management and the professions, working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. Soroptimist International are currently working on a report about females traveling safely on public transport.
