Rail Safe Wales – Student film competition

University students from across Wales have been taking part in a competition to make a short film on rail safety, particularly aimed at young people. This is a joint strategy with the British Transport Police, Network Rail and Arriva Trains Wales to help make the network a safer place to travel and work. Four films will be introduced by the students and shown at the screening event from four different categories, including Staff Assaults, Anti-Social Behaviour, Vandalism and Revenue Protection. David Beer, passenger executive will be taking part for Passenger Focus, helping to choose an overall winner.
