Rail Ticketing conference: Ticketing solutions for tomorrow’s railway

Chief Executive of Passenger Focus, Anthony Smith will be speaking at the ‘Ticketing solutions for tomorrow’s railway’ conference on the 17 October 2007.

Landor Conferences, part of the Landor Group, publishers of Local Transport Today, Transit and Parking Review is organising the first annual conference, sponsored by Transit Magazine.

Ticketing is the area where the biggest transformation could occur on the railway in the next 7-14 years and could make using the railway more convenient for passengers.

The conference will focus on key issues such as what are the benefits of ticket transformation, how new ticketing solutions help to manage customer relationship and Touch&Travel – m-ticketing with Near Field Communication (NFC).

Anthony will be speaking about what passengers want from the next generation of rail ticketing solutions and a mixed ticket media railway.
