Railway Community Safety Forum 2009

Passenger Focus Chief Executive Anthony Smith will be giving the key note speech at the Railway Community Safety Forum 2009 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull on 18 March 2009.

The speech, entitled ‘Am I safe? Passenger perceptions of personal security’ will take place at 10.05.

The forum is being organised by Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) on behalf of the industry and is designed to focus on four key areas of crime risk. This year’s forum will provide the opportunity for questions and discussion with the experts, and:

• Update delegates about the rail industry’s approach to reducing crime
• Share examples of good practice
• Showcase activity within the community safety arena
• Provide practitioners with practical ideas and solutions
• Encourage networking opportunities
