Reduction in maximum fees for ticket refunds – Transport Focus response

Commenting on the Office of Rail and Road’s announcement that the maximum fee for ticket refunds will soon be halved, Alex Robertson, Chief executive at the independent watchdog, Transport Focus said:

“Getting a refund needs to be simple and fair for passengers. We welcome the news that the maximum admin fee will be reduced to better reflect the actual processing costs. It’s also worth remembering you are entitled to a fee-free refund if you choose not to travel because your journey is disrupted.”
