Our thoughts are with all the victims and families of those affected by this tragic incident.

This morning we also reached out to colleagues on the railway to offer our support. 

In a moment like this, those working on the railway, British Transport Police and the broader emergency services provide a true example of public service.  Keeping us safe often means putting themselves in danger in ways the rest of us never have to think about.

We will continue to remain close to those involved and provide whatever help we can.
