National Passenger Survey Reportal

30 April 2012

We consult 50,000 passengers a year to produce the National Passenger Survey (NPS) – a network-wide picture of passengers satisfaction with rail travel. Passenger opinions of train services are collected twice a year from a representative sample of journeys. Passengers’ overall satisfaction and satisfaction with 29 specific aspects of service can, therefore, be compared over time.

The National Passenger Reportal System has been designed to allow quick and easy online access to the last three years core National Passenger Survey data. This includes all the key measures, journey and demographic data. To access the system click on the link opposite under NPS Reportal.

The National Passenger Comments system has also been designed to allow online access to actual comments made by respondents to the National Passenger Survey.
