Smart travel extends across Govia Thameslink Railway

Commenting on the Govia Thameslink Railway announcement on smart travel,  Anthony Smith, chief executive of Transport Focus, has said:

“Our research shows many passengers like the convenience of smartcards, but the switch from paper tickets must be easy and simple to understand.

“It’s good to see that the Key smartcard automatically generates delay compensation claims, something we are encouraging across all train operators through our help Make Delay Pay campaign.

“When things go wrong Govia Thameslink Railway must ensure every eligible passenger knows about compensation and how they can claim.”
