Automatic delay compensation from Southern Rail and Gatwick Express is good news for passengers

“Transport Focus welcomes the initiative that Southern and Gatwick Express passengers using their key smartcard will be automatically compensated for delays of 15 minutes or more.

“It is right that passengers are compensated when they are delayed. Making it easier for them to claim is good news.  This initiative should help build trust between the rail operator and their passengers.”
