Latest results published from Logistics and Coach Survey
18 January 2022
Transport Focus has today published the latest results from its Logistics and Coach Survey: Strategic Roads, covering autumn 2021. The survey asks businesses running lorries and coaches on England’s motorways and major ‘A’ roads about their satisfaction with the National Highways network.
In the latest results 44 per cent of lorry and coach businesses were satisfied overall with how well these roads met their business needs. This is down from 51 per cent for the same period in 2020.
Commenting on the latest results Transport Focus head of strategy, Guy Dangerfield, said:
“The extent to which England’s motorways and major ‘A’ roads meet the needs of businesses running lorries and coaches on them really does matter. These roads are how food gets to the shops and parcels get to our doors.
“Transport Focus will continue to work with National Highways on how it can better understand and meet the needs of these important users of England’s strategic roads.”
