New retail Code of Practice – Passenger Focus response

Responding to the publication of a new retail Code of Practice, David Sidebottom, Passenger Focus director, said:
“Passengers tell us that they find the ticketing structure and complexity of restrictions confusing, so they will welcome this new Code of Practice.
“Accurate ticket information, as well as easy access to an understandable explanation of ticket types and restrictions, is essential for increasing passengers’ confidence. This Code of Practice should help to ensure that passengers make an informed choice when buying tickets.”
