Office of Rail and Road ‘Measuring Up’ report – Transport Focus response

Commenting on today’s ‘Measuring up’ report from Office of Rail and Road, Anthony Smith, chief executive of Transport Focus, said

“Far too many passengers are still buying the wrong ticket from ticket vending machines, waiting too long for complaints to be dealt with and still getting poor information when services are disrupted. These are all things that our own research highlights so it is good the see the rail regulator taking action and pushing the rail industry to improve. We will keep monitoring progress in all these areas.”
