Passenger Focus responds to the increase in bus passenger satisfaction in the West Midlands

20 July 2012

Linda McCord, Passenger Focus manager, said:

“This work demonstrates what can be achieved when bus companies and transport authorities take the results of our Bus Passenger Survey seriously and make an effort to tackle the issues highlighted by passengers.

“We hope that National Express West Midlands and Centro are encouraged by this increase in passenger satisfaction and use it as a springboard to push ahead with further improvements. However, value for money remains an issue for passengers.

“We will be publishing the next Bus Passenger Survey in 2013, so further improvements to services should result in even better passenger satisfaction.”
