Shaw report into the future of Network Rail – Transport Focus response

Responding to the publication of Nicola Shaw’s final report into the future of Network Rail, Transport Focus’s chief executive, Anthony Smith, said:

“Passengers will be pleased to hear that the Shaw report provides a strong focus on keeping their needs at the heart of the railway.
“We know that passengers want a clear sense of who is in charge – but most of all, they want improved day-to-day reliability. Let’s hope we now move into a calmer and more user-focused future for the railway.”
