Transport Focus’s Board will be meeting in public on Tuesday 18 May to discuss the National Bus Strategy for England.

This online meeting will look at how the new strategy can deliver more frequent, reliable and better value bus services for passengers as the country emerges from Covid-19.

We’re pleased to welcome Buses Minister Baroness Vere to deliver the keynote speech.

We will also hear from Transport for West Midlands and Go Ahead on the local authority and operator perspective on the bus strategy. There will be an opportunity for questions to be answered in a panel session led by our chair, Jeff Halliwell.

Panel speakers:

  • Katy Taylor, Chief Strategy and Customer Officer, Go-Ahead Group
  • Pete Bond, Director of Integrated Transport Service, Transport for West Midlands.

The event will be live streamed on Twitter on Tuesday 18 May 2021 at 2-3pm.
