Bus Passenger Survey: driving change for passengers

22 February 2017

The results of our 2016 Bus Passenger Survey (BPS) are now in.

This year we will be launching the results in Liverpool. Transport User Voice readers are invited to an event on Wednesday 22 March 2017 between 12 noon and 2pm to hear this year’s survey results.

You’ll be able to find out more about the recently-published BPS and hear from senior spokespeople from the Liverpool City Region, Arriva and Stagecoach on how they are making improvements to bus services using our survey.

Each year we consult more than 40,000 passengers a year to produce the survey. Passengers rate their satisfaction with a wide range of aspects of their bus journey including waiting for the bus, the bus driver as well as their overall satisfaction with that bus journey and their rating of value for money. The results can be used to pinpoint areas of improvement for passengers.

Through the use of our annual Bus Passenger Survey results the Liverpool City Region Bus Alliance is looking to achieve ‘industry leading customer satisfaction levels’. Working alongside Merseytravel, Stagecoach and Arriva we will be using our research to help improve the passenger experience throughout the region.
