Transport User Voice – May 2022 – Join our next Board meeting

28 April 2022

On our work for Scotland’s transport users

Next month we’re delighted to be back holding our first in-person Board meeting since the end of Covid restrictions.

We want to take the temperature of Scotland’s transport users. Are they being supported? Are they happy with transport operators? What improvements do they want to see?

If it matters to you, we want to hear from you!

On Wednesday 18 May, we’ll discuss our latest work in helping Scotland’s transport users.

Our chair, Jeff Halliwell, will host the event from the beautiful and historic Riddle’s Court, on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, which will also be broadcast live on our Twitter page. Robert Samson, our senior stakeholder manager, will provide an overview of our work in Scotland.

Other speakers include rail representatives, Joanne Maguire, chief operating officer of ScotRail, Chris Gibb, chief executive officer of Scottish Rail Holdings and Kathryn Darbandi, chief executive of Caledonia Sleeper.

On bus, Paul White, director of Confederation of Passenger Transport Scotland will discuss the role of bus in Government’s plans to reach net-zero carbon emissions.

As well as covering the latest news on rail and bus, the transport industry will share work it’s been doing to meet the needs of metro and tram passengers in Scotland. Plus, we’ll share our latest insight work.

You can watch the event live and ask questions on 18 May from 09:30 here You can read more information, contact us ahead of the meeting with questions, or add to your calendar here
