Join Transport Focus to explore what transport users need to help them travel with confidence now and in the future.

This online event will also consider how services can be ‘built back better’ with users’ needs at the heart.

We are pleased to confirm Baroness Vere, parliamentary under-secretary of state for transport, as the keynote speaker. Councillor Liam Robinson, transport portfolio holder at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority will be speaking as well as taking part in our panel.

Current and former public transport users will share their experiences of travel and aspirations for the future. Our panel of industry experts will discuss the issues and potential solutions.

The panel includes:

  • Mary Hewitt – strategy and policy director at Arriva UK Trains
  • James Freeman – managing director at First Bus West of England
  • Councillor Waseem Zaffar MBE – cabinet member for transport and environment at Birmingham City Council
  • Victoria Garcia – accessibility and communities manager at Brighton & Hove Buses

The event will be held on Wednesday 11 November 2020 at 2 – 3.30pm.
