“Passengers consistently tell us they want bus services that are reliable, frequent and offer better value for money.
A £2 fare cap will be welcome news for many passengers and could encourage more people to use the bus. More people travelling by bus helps support a stronger, more sustainable network and the reliable, frequent services communities want.
Affordable fares matter, but so does making sure people can depend on the service.”
